TOUGH BEING A BILLS FAN

Well, the Bills are officially the most dissapointing team in the NFL. They have dropped their fourth straight game in row. Including three divisional games in a row. I just went to the Monday night football game this past Monday, and it was one of the most depressing games I have ever gone to. They lost to a sub-par Cleveland team in the last seconds of the game. Ryan Lindell missed a 47 yard field goal which would have won the game for the Bills in the closing seconds. But, he missed and the Bills are now 5-5, after beginning the season 4-0. What a plunge for the worst. It is difficult for me to even write this post because I am so upset with this team. I firmly believe that the Bills need to get rid of coach Dick Jaron. He just doesn't possess the motivational qualities needed to fire a team up and he makes some severely poor decisions. I believe it is time for a major change beginning right at the top.

Where does one start when they attempt to discuss the Buffalo Bills. My whole life I've been surrounded by the shear disappointment of Buffalo sports in general. It's as if they enjoy watching the good people of Buffalo being built up only to get knocked down....hard. Going 4-0 this season might have been a good sign for the Bills, only lead the true fans on. They played some great football at the beginning of the season. What I don't understand is how you to play so well against good teams and not show up for the games against crappy ones. For example, Arizona, the Jets, Miami the list goes on. The concussion to Edwards didnt help anything either.

As for the Monday nights game goes, I made the smartest decision of the my life and turned down a ticket from a friend who had seats in the endzone. Maybe it was the accumulation of awful weather and all the work I had to do with school...or maybe it was because anyone can tell lately that the bills are just slowly slipping into a black whole. Watching Edwards throw 3 INTs in the first half was enough to make anyone shut the game off. My roommate who claims to be a DIEHARD Bills fan went to bed after the Browns went up 10pts in the 4th Qtr. I'd say by this point we all have seen our fair share of comebacks...so I decided to continue watching. With no suprise to see the Bills run the ball back off the kickoff.

At this point Joe, who do you start blaming? The Bills defense played well up until they NEEDED to stop the Browns from marching down the field in the 4th?

Maybe Dick is the one to blame...but at this point does it really matter? It seems as if the bills always seem to find someone to point the finger at....maybe its time for a new favorit team? idk...one thing I dont know is...it sure is tough being a bills fan.

I agree that it is difficult to blame any one person, or entity on this team because the problems are so many. However, I do believe that the Bills' problems begin righ at the top, with leadership and ownership. The quality and type of performance they usually put out on the field, directly mirrors the personality of the head coach Dick Jaron.

I wish that I understood sports! Like football is really confusing to me for some odd strange reason. But to each their own right?
I did go to the Bills Jets game and that was pretty sweet even though as I remember I think they lost.. hard times for those bills fans!

Yeah I can understand how it would be hard to like a sport if you do not understand it. But, once you learn it, I bet you would love Football. It is my first love. Anyways, that is cool that you went to a game at least to get that experience, even though they lost.
